The year is coming to an end, and it has been an incredible journey for Fondation Botnar. Since we started the Management Office in 2017, we have been passionately committed to investing in ideas to build healthy futures for young people globally.
Fondation Botnar adds Latin American cities Manta and Barranquilla to the global OurCity initiative that leverages local strengths, community engagement and digital technologies to transform cities and ensure young people’s wellbeing.
We’ve been learning about the success of the OurCity initiative in Tanga, Tanzania, through stories captured through video by young people Rajabu, Sabrina, Zainabu and Hussen. Today we bring their energy, experience, and vision to you!
Fondation Botnar is launching a call for innovative proposals that aim to leverage data and frontier technologies to create rapid impact for and with young people in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
In this edition, we celebrate key developments and new partnerships in our work on AI and digital for an equitable future, sharing updates from our partners and getting ready for the upcoming World Urban Forum.
